- Is this an AI app?
- No. PlayerTracer is a simple manual app. You manually select and follow your player through the clip yourself. It is not an auto-highlight product.
- Is this a subscription?
- No. The purchase is $24.99, one time. Future updates to PlayerTracer are included. It is not a subscription.
- What does Buy get me?
- Buy purchases the license (your checkout email plus a license key). Desktop installers are available here anytime; the app stays in demo until you unlock in the app with that email and key while online. Buy does not download the installer for you.
- How do I unlock after buying?
- Enter the same purchase email and license key in the app while online. First launch needs the internet once. After that the app runs offline.
- What is demo mode?
- Every website desktop download runs in demo until you unlock in the app with your purchase email and license key while online. Demo has no export, clips capped at 30 seconds, and a full-time watermark that reads "PlayerTracer Demo".
- What does it run on?
- macOS 13 (Ventura) or later (Apple Silicon or Intel), Windows 10 64-bit or later, iPadOS 16.4 or later, and Android tablets (via Google Play, coming soon). iPhone is not supported.
- Can I use a second computer or tablet?
- Yes. The license is for you on up to 3 of your own devices — for example a desktop, a laptop, and a tablet. A fourth activation signs out the oldest device.
- How do refunds work?
- Refunds are 30 days by email to hello@playertracer.app.
- How do I unlock the iPad or Android tablet app after buying here?
- Download it free from the App Store (iPad) or Google Play (Android tablets, coming soon), then sign in with the same purchase email and license key from your $24.99 website purchase. No second payment. A tablet counts as one of your 3 devices. You can also buy in the app through Apple or Google instead.
- How do App Store refunds work?
- If you bought through Apple on iPad, request a refund from Apple. Website purchases are refunded through Paddle (see Refunds).
- When does the receipt or confirmation arrive?
- After Buy, PlayerTracer emails a purchase receipt with your license key to the checkout email when email delivery is configured. Keep the email and key shown on this page either way. Paddle sandbox receipts often go to the seller inbox instead of the buyer — that is separate from the PlayerTracer receipt.
